Minister of Defense Dr Jussi Niinistö said today in paper Verkkouutiset Nykypäivä that Finland will be seriously looking into upping wartime strenghts to where they used to be. Also Finland might Revise the Ottawa Treaty, that hampers national defense disproportionally. Finlands wartime strenght is currently 230 000 men, but might be going back to 350 000 soon. Goverment feels that austerity programs have gone too far into national security.
